Why Embodied Movement

Embodied movement is about moving from within the body rather than directing it from the mind. Instead of pushing, forcing, or striving, the practice uses awareness, sensation, and breath to lead the movement. This allows the nervous system to settle, the mind to quieten, and the body to release long-held tension.

When movement is embodied, it becomes a form of regulation and restoration, your body is in a healing state. This approach is particularly supportive during periods of stress, burnout, injury prevention, and hormonal change.
