DOES THIS SOUND
LIKE YOU?
âś“ Â As night falls, a sense of dread creeps in. You start to get anxious, knowing the struggle may soon begin;
âś“ You delay going to bed, anticipating what might come;
âś“ When you go to bed, your mind starts racing:Â "Am I falling asleep yet?" "Why is my brain not turning off?" Â "If I can't sleep, tomorrow will be a write-off and I might lose my job!"
✓ You have tried EVERYTHING, all the medication the doctors and experts prescribed, all the practical tips from well-meaning friends and family or Dr. Google, but NOTHING worked;
✓ You start to believe you will NEVER sleep naturally again and you will have to adjust to a life on poor sleep...
If any of this sounds familiar, know this: you are not alone. The founder of this program and many others were in the same boat. But now, thanks to this method, they have found natural sleep again and with that, they got their energy back and they got their lives back.Â
What is Deep Release Therapy?
Â
Deep Release Therapy (DRT) is a structured therapeutic process that integrates psychological insight with psycho-somatic practices to help you return to your true, calm, connected self. Over six (or so) guided sessions, we uncover the hidden roots of your current struggles—especially the patterns, thoughts, and emotional responses that no longer serve you.
These patterns are not your fault. They were formed early in life as adaptive strategies—protective mechanisms your nervous system developed to guard against overwhelming emotional pain. While once necessary, these adaptations can persist into adulthood, contributing to challenges such as anxiety, insomnia, emotional reactivity, or disconnection from yourself and others.
How it works:
-
Assessment: We begin with a thorough exploration of your sleep patterns and related challenges, helping us identify how stress, thought patterns, and nervous system responses are affecting your ability to rest.
-
Psychological understanding: Together, we trace thought patterns, beliefs, and relational dynamics that stem from early experiences and continue to impact your wellbeing.
-
Psycho-somatic inquiry: We gently access and process stored emotional pain through body awareness, breath, and felt-sense exploration.
-
Compassionate release: In a safe, supportive space, we meet what was once too painful to feel, allowing your nervous system to soften and let go.
-
Integration: Each session builds upon the last, guiding you step by step from survival-driven patterns into a felt sense of safety, clarity, self-trust and self-love.
Through this integrative approach, Deep Release Therapy not only eases immediate symptoms but also resolves the underlying drivers of distress. As protective adaptations fall away, what emerges is your natural state of calmness, connection, and wholeness—and the capacity to experience restorative, natural sleep.
Â
“Ultimately, healing flows from within. The word itself originates from “wholeness.” To be whole is much more than to experience the absence of disease. It is the full and optimal functioning of the human organism, according to its nature-gifted possibilities.”Â
- Gabor Maté

What People Are Saying...
Amy Leigh Broadstock
"I had insomnia for much of my adult life. Being attacked in my own home, in my own bed - which was supposed to be my safe place - triggered a cascade of mental health issues… I truly believed that I would be on sleeping pills and have insomnia for the rest of my life, I never thought this was possible for me. If Annelies could help me, I believe she can help anyone. I am so incredibly grateful for this programme and how much it has improved my quality of life and armed me with so many lifelong tools and confidence in my own ability to access healthy sleep. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Annelies!"
Gerard Rawcliffe
"I have been struggling with sleep for decades and have bounced around trying different supplements & techniques with no long term benefit.
I found the one-on-one sessions with Annelies extremely beneficial. The fact that Annelies had experienced many similar life experiences made it easy for me to connect with her & then adopt the solutions we discussed.Â
The program opened my eyes to many different aspects to wellbeing which are now greatly improving my all-round lifestyle, not just sleep."
“I remember the dark days—exhausted, hollow-eyed, and filled with despair. I had lost all trust in my body, truly believing I might never sleep on my own again. To be here now, sleeping naturally and deeply, feels like a miracle. But it’s possible."
